My Background
Hello, my name is Sunghoon (Sun). I’m a native Korean speaker and a certified Korean language teacher, officially recognized by the National Institute of Korean Language.
I have over 5 years of teaching experience both online and in-person since early 2020. I’ve taught hundreds of students around the world from all walks of life. My students have various reasons to take lessons – studying or working in Korea, taking up a new hobby, re-connecting with their family of Korean heritage and more. They are making progress each week to reach their goals.
Whatever their reason, they’re making steady progress toward their goals — and you can too.
I strive to be a respectful and open-minded individual, and I deeply respect people who challenges themselves to learn. Learners of all ages, nationalities, professions, and genders are welcome.

Korean Lessons
I offer 1:1 online Korean lessons through Zoom or Preply, an online language tutoring platform. Please click on ‘Book a class’ or send me an email if you’d like to schedule a trial class at a reduced rate.
Group Online
Korean Classes
Group lessons are available both online and in-person. Maximum group size is limited to 12 people to ensure that each student has an even opportunity to participate in speaking exercises and receive individual feedback from the teacher.
Corporate Lessons – Individual or Group (Online/Offline)
